1. WHO WE ARE

SURI: The Seventh Note ("the Game") is developed and published by Tathvamasi Studios Private Limited ("we," "us," or "our"), a company incorporated under the laws of India. For any privacy-related enquiries, contact us at: hello@tathvamasi.com

2. WHAT DATA WE COLLECT

We use Unity Analytics to collect anonymous gameplay telemetry to help us improve the Game. We collect the following custom event data:

- Level load events — which levels are played and how often

- Player death events — where in a level players fail, to help us tune difficulty

When analytics is enabled, the Unity Analytics SDK also automatically collects certain technical identifiers required for its operation, including an IP address, an anonymous installation-specific ID, and a user ID (which defaults to the installation ID). These identifiers are processed by Unity Technologies on our behalf to aggregate the gameplay data described above. We do not use these identifiers to identify you personally, and we do not combine them with any other data source.

We do not collect your name, email address, PSN Online ID, payment information, photographs, location data, or any other personally identifiable information. We do not use cookies, advertising trackers, or behavioural profiling.

3. YOUR CHOICE — CONSENT AND OPT-OUT

Analytics collection is entirely optional and based on your consent.

On first launch, the Game asks whether you consent to anonymous gameplay data collection. If you select "No," the Unity Analytics SDK remains dormant and no data of any kind is collected or transmitted.

If you previously consented and wish to withdraw your consent or request deletion of any data collected about you, please contact us at hello@tathvamasi.com and we will action your request promptly.

Your choice has no effect on gameplay. The Game functions identically regardless of your analytics preference.

4. HOW WE USE THE DATA

We use the collected data solely to understand aggregate gameplay patterns, identify difficulty spikes, and improve level design. We view this data only in aggregate and anonymised form. We do not use it for advertising, profiling, sale, or any purpose other than improving the Game.

5. WHO PROCESSES THE DATA

Analytics data is collected and processed by Unity Technologies on our behalf, acting as a data processor. Unity's handling of this data is governed by their privacy policy, available at: https://unity.com/legal/game-player-and-app-user-privacy-policy

We do not share, sell, rent, or disclose your data to any other third party. We may disclose data if required to do so by law or by a valid order of a court or governmental authority.

6. YOUR RIGHTS

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights:

- Right to access: Request confirmation of whether data about you is being processed.

- Right to deletion: Request erasure of any data collected about you by contacting us at hello@tathvamasi.com.

- Right to withdraw consent: Withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.

- Right to object or restrict processing: You may object to or restrict processing by contacting us at the email address above.

These rights are provided under applicable laws including the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), and India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDPA).

7. DATA RETENTION

Analytics data is retained by Unity for a maximum of 13 months from collection, after which it is automatically deleted. If you request data deletion by contacting us, a deletion request is sent to Unity's servers and processed promptly.

8. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under the age of 16 (or the applicable minimum age in your jurisdiction). If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided consent to data collection, please contact us and we will promptly delete the data.

9. DATA SECURITY

Data transmitted by the Unity Analytics SDK is encrypted in transit. We rely on Unity's security infrastructure for storage and processing. While no system can guarantee absolute security, we take reasonable measures to protect data from unauthorised access, alteration, or destruction.

10. INTERNATIONAL DATA TRANSFERS

Analytics data may be transferred to and processed in countries outside your country of residence, including the United States, where Unity Technologies operates servers. Such transfers are governed by Unity's Data Processing Addendum and, where applicable, the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

11. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through an in-game notice or an update to the Game.

12. GOVERNING LAW

This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising under this policy shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bengaluru, India, without prejudice to your rights under local data protection laws in your jurisdiction.
